The Emerald Heights World School proudly hosted the SGFI Squash Tournaments for schools across Madhya Pradesh, welcoming enthusiastic participation from six divisions of the state. Held from 15th to 18th September 2025, the championship saw 250 students compete in a high-energy display of skill, endurance, and sportsmanship.
The tournament was inaugurated by Padma Shri Smt. P. T. Usha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and President of the Indian Olympic Association. Fondly known as the ‘Payyoli Express’, she is one of India’s most iconic athletes and continues to inspire generations through her remarkable journey and leadership in sports.
The event was a celebration of the growing popularity of squash and an embodiment of values such as discipline, perseverance, and competitive spirit, values that resonate with the ethos of both sport and education.
