Remembering Bapu & Shastriji: A Day of Reflection and Patriotism

The campus of The Emerald Heights World School reverberated with devotion, patriotism, and reflection as we celebrated the birth anniversaries of two of India’s most revered leaders, Mahatma Gandhi Ji, the Father of the Nation, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, our former Prime Minister and a symbol of simplicity and service.

The programme began with inspiring speeches by our students, revisiting Gandhiji’s timeless messages of truth and non-violence, and Shastriji’s call of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan”, reflecting his ideals of honesty, humility, and national pride.

A soulful group song followed, filling the atmosphere with emotion and patriotism.
The highlight of the event was a graceful dance performance, a heartfelt tribute to Bapu and Shastriji, that depicted their teachings of peace, unity, and resilience through expressive movements and rhythm.
This meaningful celebration served as a beautiful reminder that the greatest strength lies not in force, but in truth, simplicity, and selfless service. It was a day of learning, remembrance, and inspiration for all.
