The school believes in nurturing a deep connection between students and nature, something that is gradually fading in modern lifestyles. With this vision, EHWS organised an enriching overnight Camping & Trekking Experience at Andekha MP, Madhya Pradesh.
The boys’ group attended the camp on 11th April, followed by the girls’ group on 13th April. Set near Tonk, ahead of Dewas, the campsite offered students a refreshing break from urban life.
From staying in camps to preparing their own traditional meal, Dal Batti, students engaged in hands-on learning that built life skills and introduced them to local culture. The experience was further enriched with an informative session on wildlife and the Malwa Plateau, deepening their understanding of the region’s ecological significance.
One of the most memorable highlights was the 7 km night trek through hills and lush greenery, offering both adventure and breathtaking views. The next morning, students visited nearby cattle farms, interacted with animals, and witnessed the milking process, which was an eye-opening experience for many.
The camp helped students connect with nature, understand life beyond urban comforts, and appreciate sustainable living.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Abhimanyu Singh Tonk, Founder of Andekha MP, whose vision of “exploring the unexplored” and commitment to preserving nature made this experience truly meaningful and unforgettable.
